Alumni Association awards Two Scholarships

The Camelback Alumni Association awarded a $500 scholarship to each of the below students.

Rodrigo Zapata

Rodrigo will be going into the Army reserve program this summer and he will return to start school at Phoenix College next spring. He has a 3.6 grade average and has been committed to the JROTC Program for 4 years. He also is one of the few seniors who took rigorous courses all year.

Preston Rutherford

Preston is a part of the Honors Jazz Band and Concert Band Program. He will be attending Scottsdale Community College this year and he also has a 3.6 grade average.

Both of these young men are hard workers and goal oriented. They will put the scholarship to good use.
